        This department was established in 2003-2004 as the Department of Midwifery, which was initially affiliated to the Department of Nursing. In 2008, it became an independent department called the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. Graduates of this department will receive information about nursing (respiratory, gynecological surgery, childbirth, care and examination of pregnant mothers), and to receive this information and strengthen the practical lessons taught in hospitals and medical training is needed. In 2008-2009, it separated from the Department of General Nursing and became an independent department called (Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics).

Vision:

-Training competent staff (gynecology and childbirth) to provide gynecology and childbirth services to -mothers during pregnancy, childbirth and after childbirth.

-Training competent staff to spread health culture for women from adolescence to old age.

Mission:

The primary goal of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Nursing Program is to prepare competent nurses to provide basic health services

(Women, newborn children and their families).
