SDG-Related Activities to Improve Academic Skills
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are an international call to action to end poverty, safeguard the environment, and guarantee that everyone lives in peace and comfort by 2030. The objectives acknowledge the need for a balance between environmental, social, and economic sustainability. Since achieving the SDGs is crucial to ensuring a successful future, many educational institutions throughout the world have begun teaching them in an effort to raise a generation that understands the need to achieve and uphold these objectives.

Reporting, Monitoring and Evaluating the SDGs
Sulaimani Polytechnic University’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program monitors, evaluate and report SDG performance on an annual bases. Each year, the university collects, verifies, and audits SDGs related data across teaching, research, operations, and community engagement, and reports the verified results to external ranking frameworks specifically Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings and QS (Sustainability) in accordance with their submission guidelines and quality assurance standards. This process supports transparency, comparability, and continuous improvement in SDG outcomes.
