Sulaimani Polytechnic University (SPU) is dedicated to advancing equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). The University makes ensuring that no person or group of people receives less favourable treatment because of a protected trait. The university must also make sure that individuals who might be at a disadvantage can obtain the resources necessary to take advantage of the same chances as their peers. Additionally, periodically evaluates its practices, rules, and processes to make sure they are successful in promoting.

To encourage comprehension and knowledge of EDI-related issues, the university offers training and development opportunities to all members of the university community.
