General Description: 

Postgraduate education involves learning and studying for degrees or other qualifications for which a first or Bachelor’s degree generally is required, and is normally considered to be part of tertiary or higher education. Master’s degrees consist of both taught and research elements. PhD also consist of both taught and research elements and take three or more years.

The study program of this course is implemented through the Bologna process, the required total European Credit Transfer Systems (ECTS) that the candidate should complete is 120 ECTS within two years. Students can apply for course extension twice and each time for six months.

Requirements:

  • Applicants applying for the Master’s degree should hold a Bachelor’s degree and meet all the requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education.
  • Applicants applying for the Ph.D. degree should hold the Bachelor’s and the Master’s degree and meet all the requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education

Applicants may apply through the website of the Sulaimani Polytechnic University

Language Requirement:

Applicants should have 5 score of IELTs Exam or any equivalent score of the standard exams.

Scientific Ability Exam Process:

Applicants must score no less than (15) out of (30) in a scientific exam.

Thesis Submission Process:

The thesis shall be evaluated by both scientific reviewers and linguistic review, and then it can be nominated for the defense.
