It is established in 2004 and the programs of the department qualify the students to become Medical Laboratory Technicians to assist the medical laboratory Technologist in the field of Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Immunology, Microbiology and Pathology. The Department provide Diploma (2 years) and Bachelor (4 years) degrees.
Mission:
To produce medical laboratory technologists equipped with basic and advanced diagnostic techniques, who after successfully completing their training, would be able to work effectively in laboratories, undertake problem-solving research and manage laboratory. Thereby promoting the innovation and utilization of new techniques for diagnosis, monitoring and prevention of diseases
Vision:
Our vision is to be assist our community by providing staff in medical laboratory technology that highly skilled and competent.
