The Department of Electricity is one of the departments of the Technical College of Kalar of the Sulaimani Polytechnic University in the district of Kalar. The Department of Electricity was established in 1995. The duration of the study in this Department is two years and the student obtains a technical diploma in the field of electricity. The purpose of establishing this department is to prepare technical staff in the specialization of electrical power to work in the public and private sectors.
Mission:
Preparation of technical staff specialized and qualified scientifically and practically at a technical level in line with the requirements of technological development and upgrading the specialization of the branch of electrical power. It serves as a scientific, cultural, and intellectual center that feeds the community.
