Academic Departments
The Information Technology department was founded in 2021, followed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s acceleration. The Technical Diploma of Information Technology is offered on a full-time basis. The duration of study for the full-time program is subjected to the student’s entry qualifications and lasts between two (2) years to a maximum of four (4) years.
The Department of Business Administration is one of the scientific departments of the Technical Institute in Halabja Governorate, which was established in the year 2007-2008 and continues to provide specialists in the field of business management in both morning and evening shifts. The department is a center for building professional experts for institutions, governmental and private departments in to develop the administration field in the Kurdistan Region. The courses are divided into two years, and the graduates of this department receive a Diploma in Business Administration.
The Department of Nursing is one of the medical departments of Halabja Technical Institute. It was established in 2003 in Halabja. The department prepares nurse technician cadre with holding basic technical qualification (two years) and is open to any student interested in taking technical diploma.
Medical Laboratory Technique’s department in Halabja Technical Institute SPU is located in Halabja city and offers 2 years studying for a technical diploma in medical laboratory techniques. The department is established in 2007 under the name of MLT and still continues in the same name. Its first graduated class was back in 2008-2009 in which 48 students graduated and awarded technical diploma in MLT.
Department of Accounting is one of the departments in the Technical Institute in Halabja, which located in the center of the city of Halabja The study in this departments is two years, and it is taught by specialized teachers in scientific and modern, and the goal is to serve the community through education and development programs and scientific training Public and private sector
