
A delegation from Sulaimani Polytechnic University participated in the third phase of the RISE Project in Spain
Within the framework of the RISE Project, which focuses on the internationalization of universities through the Office of International Relations and on increasing employment opportunities for university graduates through the Career Development Center (CDC), the university delegation took part in the third phase of the project in Spain for a period of five days.
The university delegation consisted of Asst. Prof. Dr. Bakhtiar Obaid Sharif, Vice President for Student Affairs; Asst. Prof. Dr. Awder Mohammed Ahmed, Director of the International Relations Office; Mr. Ayub Karim Saeed, Director of the CDC; Ms. Shara Saleh Ali, Director of Quality Assurance; and Ms. Zhana Fidakar Mohammed, Director of Technology and Statistics.
This phase focused on aligning academic curricula with labor market needs. Key activities included working groups on aligning academic programs with employer requirements and feedback, strengthening relationships and collaboration between local employers, students, educators, and the wider university community, and developing effective employer feedback mechanisms. The delegation also shared experiences from Alumni Executive Boards and participated in professional development activities, employability enhancement tools, and entrepreneurship initiatives within CDCs.
