A National Academic Appeal in Support of Rojava

Under the direct patronage and supervision of Professor Dr. Kosar Mohammed, President of the University of Sulaimani, and Professor Dr. Hoshyar Abdullah Aziz, President of Sulaimani Polytechnic University, a practical humanitarian initiative has been launched to provide urgent relief to our brothers and sisters in Rojava (Western Kurdistan).

Driven by a deep sense of historical, national, and ethical responsibility, and in response to the severe circumstances facing Rojava, our academic institutions have announced a comprehensive campaign to collect humanitarian aid and support.

Campaign Schedule

Aid collection teams will be available from Sunday, January 25, 2026, to Thursday, January 29, 2026, operating daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Priority Relief Items Requested:

The following items are most urgently needed by our people in Rojava and will be accepted at the designated collection centers:

1. Childcare Supplies: Essential items, particularly infant formula (milk), diapers, and children’s clothing.

2. Clothing: Suitable apparel for all genders and age groups.

Note: All clothing items should be new or in excellent, clean, and wearable condition.
