Academic Departments
Nursing department is one of the departments of the Technical Institute of Sulaymaniyah. The graduates of this department can work in hospitals as well as private clinics. After two years of studying at the department, the student graduates with a technical diploma.
This department was established at Sulaimani Technical Institute/Sulaimani Polytechnic University to prepare staff with a 2-year technical degree in dental nursing science. This department was established in 2015-2016.
This department was established in 2003-2004 as the Department of Midwifery, which was initially affiliated to the Department of Nursing. In 2008, it became an independent department called the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics.
The diagnosis and management of a pediatric nursing ward is an important unit in the health care system. The professional practice of the nursing system affects the overall outcome of the health system.

Anesthesia is a great science in the field of medicine and surgery, and through anesthesia, the surgeon can identify the pain spots in the patient’s body and treat them and facilitate the operations that need to sleep the patient and the period may be relatively long.
Department of Pathology is one of the departments of Sulaimani Technical Institute of Sulaimani Polytechnic University. This department was established in 2000-2001.
