CDC and Kurd Mad Host Internship Workshop to Promote Decent Work Opportunities

The Career Development Center (CDC) and Kurd Mad Foundation have successfully organized a workshop focused on promoting decent work through internship opportunities for young professionals. The event, held at the CDC’s building on 25th November 2023, brought together industry experts, young job seekers, and representatives from both the public and private sectors.

The workshop, titled “Internships for Decent Work: Bridging Skills and Opportunities,” aimed to provide guidance to students and early-career professionals on how to navigate the evolving job market. Emphasizing the importance of internships as a key tool for skill development and employment, the event also aimed to address the challenges facing youth employment in the region.

The partnership between CDC and Kurd Mad reflects a shared commitment to enhancing employment prospects for young people by fostering partnerships with businesses that offer meaningful internship experiences. By focusing on decent work, both organizations aim to create a more inclusive job market that values fair wages, job security, and safe working conditions.
