The Futsal and Chess League at Chawarchra Technical Colleges has Ended

In the stadium ground of technical colleges of Sulaimani Polytechnic University, in the presence of Dr. Bakhtiar Obaid Sharif, Vice President for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hersh Rasul, Dean of Technical College of Management, Asst. Prof. Dr. Baqer Daud, Assistant Dean, as well as Deans and Assistant Deans of other colleges of Chawarchra Campus, and in the presence of students, employees and teachers, the First, Second and Third prizes for Chess and the final match of the University Futsal League was held. The final match was between the Technical Department of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. As a result, the Department of Mechanical Engineering became the champion of the futsal league of Polytechnic University with a result of two to zero.
The participants in the futsal league were (15) departments of colleges (Administration, Engineering, Health and Medicine and Informatics).
The chess tournament was held within (5) days, where (3) students reached the final and won the first, second and third prizes as follows:
First: Sharo Adil Jalal from the Department of Urban Planning, Technical college of Engineering.
Second: Hawzhin Hiwa Abdullah from Technical College of Informatics.
Third: Zamwa Haider, from the Department of Anesthesia, Technical College of Health and Medicine.
The sports unit of the technical college campus is responsible for organizing the futsal league, which is arranged annually with the assistance of the Presidency of Sulaimani Polytechnic University.
