A Number of Our University Students are Providing Health Services to Refugees in Partnership with an American Team
A number of students at the Technical College of Health and Medicine of Sulaimani Polytechnic University, through the Career Development Centre (CDC), are partnering with a health team of the American organization (N2N) to provide health services to refugees in Sulaimani province.
From 22 to 26/9/2024 six students from College of Health of Sulaimani Polytechnic University in the departments of (Medical Laboratory, Nursing, Anesthesia) participated as trainers and collaborators with the health team of N2N in providing health services to the refugees in Barika camp.
The health team expressed their pleasure at the partnership of the Center for Career Development (CDC) in the event and promised to work together with our university.
Mr. Ayub, Director of CDC announced that “This training and activity is part of the ongoing coordination between the CDC and N2N. We plan to have our students participate with these teams in the future to gain more experience and provide more services.”
