Media Students Meeting was Held
Under the slogan ‘Creating Talents and Abilities; Developing the Talents and Abilities’, Sulaimani Polytechnic University, in collaboration with Kurdistan Technical Institute, holds a meeting for the Students of the scientific departments of the Media, Media Techniques, Public Relations and Marketing. The meeting is expected to last for two consecutive days.
On Wednesday, 18th May 2022, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Alan Faraidun Ali Amin, the president of SPU, the president and teachers of Technical Institute of Kurdistan, a significant number of journalists, and teachers SPU, in collaboration with TIK, held its meeting for the students of media departments. This meeting provides the students with opportunities for obtaining jobs and improves their skills.
The meeting began with a moment of silence for the souls of the martyrs of Kurdistan. After that, Sherko Jabbar delivered the welcome speech and then Prof. Alan Faraidun Ali Amin, president of SPU, delivered a joint speech between the university and Technical Institute of Kurdistan.
In his speech, referring to the importance of such meetings, Prof. Alan Faraidun Ali Amin mentioned the role of SPU in educating and preparing students for the labour market. He also valued the efforts of SPU staff, teachers, and students in improving the university as one of the centers of providing good, well-educated, and professional journalists.
At the end of his speech, he encouraged the students to make more efforts to prove themselves and determine their place in all sectors of life in the Kurdistan Region and reaffirmed their support and thanked all those who worked hard and participated in the academic meeting.
A short video was presented by the Technical Department of Media on how the idea and organization of the scientific activity was developed.
