In a Workshop, the IT Students were Introduced to the Network Fields by Asiacell

To obtain new knowledge and practice theoretical lessons, Department of Information Technology – Technical Institute of Halabja, in coordination with the Presidency Office for Scientific Affairs and Higher Education and Directorate of Information Technology and Statistics,  Asiacell engineers organized a workshop for the first-year students of Information Technology Department of Halabja Technical Institute.

The IT Department of Halabja Technical Institute in cooperation with the Directorate of IT and Information Technology of the Presidency of SPU and under the supervision of some teachers, held a workshop in Peeramerd Hall, in the Presidency of SPU, on Wednesday,25 May 2022.

In the workshop, Aras Sadiq, a lecturer of Technical Institute of Halabja, talked about the importance of such activities and asked the students to listen tentatively to the information explained to them by experts in the field.

Also, Mr Jamal Kak Bra, Director of IT and Information Technology Directorate of SPU, on behalf of the assistant of the university president for Scientific Affairs and Higher Education – Head of Information Technology Department of Technical Institute of Halabja, expressed his appreciation to the team from Asiacell for providing such a beneficial workshop. He also hoped that students could benefit from the practical and theoretical tips given by the presenters.

Kurdo Rauf, one of the engineers of the company in the field of network and IT, gave a detailed discussion on the obstacles they sometimes face and the solutions they provide with some practical examples. He also explained several examples and methods of working for their company.

Then the students visited the different departments of the company and were shown the equipment that they use as a large telecommunications company.

The students expressed their pleasure with the workshop and scientific trip and thanked the department, Technical Institute of Halabja and the Presidency of SPU for the activity and hoped that students will continue to see the work outside their classrooms.
