Sulaimani Polytechnic University and Kurdistan Child Protection Discuss Collaborative Work

 

On May 21st, 2025, Professor Dr. Hoshiar Abdullah Aziz, President of Sulaimani Polytechnic University, along with Professor Dr. Bakhtiar Obeid Sharif, Vice President for Student Affairs, and Dr. Hersh Rasul Murad, Dean of the Technical Institute of Administration, welcomed a delegation from the Kurdistan Child Protection Organization.

The delegation included Ms. Sara Latif Rashid, President of the organization; Mr. Nu’man Abdulrahman Ali, Communications Officer; Ms. Shler Sardar Ramzi, Program Officer; and Mr. Miran Ali Ibrahim, Administrative Officer.

Professor Dr. Hoshiar Abdullah Aziz warmly welcomed the guests and provided a brief overview of Sulaimani Polytechnic University, highlighting its colleges, institutes, and academic specializations. He emphasized the significance of collaboration between higher education institutions and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), affirming the University’s readiness to work together in the public interest—particularly in supporting children and youth and helping to develop their potential.

Ms. Sara Latif Rashid, President of the Kurdistan Child Protection Organization, expressed her appreciation for the warm reception and the University’s openness to collaboration. She outlined the organization’s vision and future plans and emphasized their interest in benefiting from the expertise of the University’s academic staff in upcoming projects.
