An international workshop Entitled “Facility Management in Smart Cities” Took Place

On September 1st, 2021, the 7th international training workshop of the joint Digital cultural heritage (DCH)-the Nahrein Network “Creative Cities” Training Program entitled “Facility Management in Smart Cities” was held.

Over 193 participants from 26 different universities and government and non-government organizations from a total of 6 countries (Iraq, Iran, UK, Egypt, Finland, and Algeria). And locally in Iraq, participants attended the workshop from 11 different cities and Towns, including (Baghdad, Mosul, Sulaimani, Erbil, Halabja, Duhok, Koya, Darbandikhan, Rawandiz, Kalar, and Chamchamal).

The workshop was presented by Ms.Gona Ibrahim, CAD and Drawing Manager at Kungälv Municipality.

The Nahrein Network is a collaborative international project between University College London (UCL), University of Oxford, Sulaimani Polytechnic University, and the University of Al-Qadisiyah. The Network is supported by an AHRC Global Challenges Research Fund grant from the UK government.
