SPU Informatic College hosts Mekhak Festival and craft fair

Today April 23^rd, 2019 at 10 am, Mekhak Festival was held. The festival was attended by Dr. Alan Faraidiin Ali, President of Sulaimani Polytechnic University, Azad Muhammad Amin, President of the Municipal Chamber of Sulaimani, Dr. Soran Saeed, Vice President of Scientific Affairs and Dr. Aras Omar karim, Dean of Technical Cillege if Informatics and a number of deans of Colleges and Institutes as well as teachers, academic staff and students of Sulaimani Polytechnic University.

The festival began with a speech given by the Dean of TCI. Later, Alaa Kan’an, TCI student a student and organizing committee representative welcomed the guest and briefed the purpose and agenda of festival to the attendees. She stated “the primary goal of this festival is charity and helping out students with financial difficulties” in addition to creating a platform and creating an opportunity to show students’ abilities in their fields of interest. The festival featured several entertainments such as dance, music and poetry, then guests were invited to the art exhibition and several expensive books were presented.
