Sulaimani Polytechnic University Issues A Scientific Journal Entitled, “Kurdistan Journal For Applied Research KJAR
Sulaimani Polytechnic University SPU announced the issuance of the scientific journal “Kurdistan journal for Applied Research KJAR,” the semi-annual publishes contain the production of knowledge to its members to promote its scientific steadiness expressing its intention to invest academic ties to make it a global proliferation.
The editor of the journal KJAR Dr.Soran Saeed said that Kurdistan Journal of Applied Research KJAR is a ” new step to accommodate the increasing cognitive activity for members of the university and the promotion of scientific prestige locally and globally “, pointing out that the scientific publishes of the universities is an” important criteria in the evaluation of universities and determine their level.”
He said, that the journal ” published under the auspices of President of the University Dr.Alan F. Ali Amin , and the supervision of the editorial board of a bicameral first scientific author of seven professors in various disciplines of the university colleges and institutes , and the other consisting of 12 specialists from inside or outside the university consultant , to ensure the Research published , “noting that the journal ” semi-annual published every six months on a temporary basis , hoping to be a quarterly in the future . ”
The journal’s editor- chairman, confirmed that the university “intends to invest its academic relation with extensive foreign counterparts to make the global journal proliferation” , because it ” serves the university and its affiliates and enhances the status of the Kurdistan Region on the global scientific and academic map.”
The chief executive assistant, Dr. Bilal Abdul Rahman Mohammed said , “The first edition of the first volume of the Journal was limited to ten research covers the areas of Pure and Applied Science has been prepared by the researchers of the university ,” noting that the journal’s editor body” intends to be the next issue consisted of two parts . First for Applied Sciences in English language, and the second for the Humanities and be bilingual Kurdish and/or Arabic.
Mohamed said that the editorial board of the journal welcomes the contribution of the products of researchers from inside or outside the territory of Kurdistan to be subject to scientific evaluation prior to publication ,” and added that the journal ” was issued about 90 color A4-sized pages .”
He added also, the first edition of the journal covered various specializations including Biologic , engineering , health , medical, chemical ,” he continued that , including those that ” dealing with the first appearance of perforated unilateral gill fish in Dukan lake in the Kurdistan region , which dealt a formal study for a standard worm Echinococcus granulosus of water in Sulaimani.
And he added that KJAR also included a ” research devoted to the impact of chemical weapons on the victims ,that impact that causes cancer , another theme
“the Health Research magazine dealt with the of assess eating behavior in obese children in the city of Bangor, the British , the study of the chemical and sensory characteristics of thrombus milk prepared by adding calcium, on the other hand the journal dealt with the architecture as a system to ensure the study of the evolution of housing systems .
