An Academic At SPU Published Six Researches In International And Arab Magazines During 2015.
Dr.Jasim M. Abdulkareem holds a bachelor’s and master degree from the University of Technology Department of Mechanical Engineering, and doctoral degrees from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Damascus University, and currently teaches at the Department of Production and Metallurgical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering Technology at the University of Sulaymaniyah technology.
He has many contributions to the local and international scientific conferences, for instance, he has published 5 scientific research in international magazines and one research in an Iraqi magazine, this comes within the framework of the importance of disseminating research to upgrade the universities of Kurdistan in general and SPU in particular thus he called for the need to adopt a mechanism that would motivate academics for creativity and innovation to improve the universities of the region and to find its place in the global academic map.
He added, that those ” research dealt with different engineering fields starting from the reduction of pollution caused by the heat of industrial applications which was published in an International Journal of Scientific & Engineering Research in which he addressed ways to reduce pollutants, particularly toxic gases, caused by the heat of major importance in various industrial fields of energy, access to higher productivity, including energy.”, and the other research was “ invent of a new type of crushers cement power plants” which was published in an international Indian Magazine IPASJ “ International Journal of Mechanical Engineering,” It included a new design for the crushers of the cement plants to improve its performance , with shortened steps cracking stone from three to one, the highest efficiency and less time . ”
While the third research dealt with the development of the jet engine performance which was published in( IOSR-JMCE) Journal of Mechanical and Civil Engineering and recorded within the American engineering data base for its importance, the research dealt with the development of the jet engine performance by changing the design of their own combustion chamber , to increase the speed of rotation of approximately 38 thousand r / min by using liquid gas (LPG), and front flame length 60-70 cm ”
His fourth research dealt with the distribution of the temperature of the front flame in opposite caustics, and included also illustrations the change of the shape of the flame front disc and the amount of thermal energy produced for each of them, the research presented first in the International Conference on Advances in Mechanical Engineering in Istanbul, then published in an International thermal journals”.
While the fifth research dealt with the measure of the speed of flame spread liquid fuels using three types of jets ( Alnozl ) at different angles , published in Research Journal of Aleppo University- University of Aleppo , vol. 126″ and the sixth research published in Thi-Qar University Journal for Engineering Sciences.
It is worth to mention that D.Jasm , invented a new mechanism to reduce the financial cost for the production of cement and increase its quantity , and obtained a patent from the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control of Ministry of Planning and Cooperation of the Federal Development .
