Representative of Sulaimani Polytechnic University Visits China

Asst. Prof. Dr. Sarhang Sarwat Hama Karim, Vice President, and representative of Sulaimani Polytechnic University, accompanied by representatives of Kurdistan Regional’s Polytechnic Universities, will be in China for fourteen days. The visit will start on April 10 and continues until April 24. The representatives of all five polytechnic universities of the Kurdistan Region will stay in the country.
In this regard, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sarhang Sarwat Hama, Vice President of the University said the aim of the visit is to strengthen academic and cultural relations and improve coordination of polytechnic universities with the private sector and finding job opportunities for university graduates. He also said that during our stay in the country, we participated in several seminars and visited several colleges and universities and advanced factories to learn about the experience of China and how to link the private sector and vocational education. Another part of the visit is to get acquainted with the vocational education system that has influenced China's development.
The visit of the representatives of Kurdistan Regional Polytechnic Universities is to strengthen coordination with (Ningbo Polytechnic University) in Ningbo city, as well as Aeronautical University of Aviation in Chengdu city of China to strengthen academic, professional, and cultural ties entitled: (Seminar for Vocational Education Teachers in Developing Countries 2024).
The event was organized in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Chinese Consulate in Erbil, and the Chinese Ministry of Commerce.
