
Labor Market Preparation Courses
The Career Development Center (CDC) at Sulaimani Polytechnic University, in collaboration with STEP Organization Iraq and with the support of STEP UK, is offering a specialized training course focused on leadership and employability skills. The course covers leadership, CV writing, job interview techniques, time management, and teamwork.
Course Topics Include:
- Leadership – Identifying your leadership style
- Communication Skills – Developing effective communication abilities
- Team Building – Understanding the importance of collaboration
- Advocacy and Action Planning – Planning effectively and advocating for needs
- Time Management – Learning practical time management techniques
- CV Writing – Learning how to present your life experiences professionally in a CV
- Interview Skills – Learning how to use communication skills to present yourself effectively
- Implementation of Social Projects – Learning how to organize, implement, and monitor community service activities, including advocacy tools
All course topics are designed to prepare participants for the labor market by enhancing professional skills, teamwork abilities, and self-development.
This course lasts for 4 weeks and 2 lessons per week for 3 hours. The course will be held in the office of the Career Development Center (CDC) in the campus of Chawarchra Technical Colleges. Participation rates are limited. At the end of the course, the participants receive a certificate.
Note: Participation is only for students and graduates of Sulaimani Polytechnic University.
