The Third Round of Capacity Building for Students and Graduates of Universities and Institutes in the Field of ICT and Cybersecurity has Successfully Conducted
SPU Cisco Networking Academy/ Chawarchra Campus in Technical College of Engineering, in collaboration with Meridian International Center and Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. State Department, conducted a training course. This course, conducted for the third time, trained 40 students and graduates of universities and institutes of Sulaimani city. Participants came from Tishk International University, Komar University, Cihan University, University College of Goizha, Sulaimani Polytechnic University, Kurdistan Technical Institute, and National Institute.
A team of experts from universities in the Kurdistan Region, the United States of America, and Europe conducted the course. The course was led by Prof. Dr. Luo Webin of St. Mary’s University, Dr. Anastasia Apitek; a cybersecurity expert from the European Union, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sarkar Hassan from Technical College of Informatics, and Asst. Prof Mr. Awder Mohammed Ahmed of Technical College of Engineering. Upon completing both theoretical and practical lessons, each participant received a certificate of attendance. The third round of the program took place from November 16 to 19, 2024.

1- The fourth round will begin on November 23, 2024.
2- The fifth and sixth rounds, which are the final rounds of the program, will be announced in December. The application link will be open for only two days due to the large number of participants. Therefore, we encourage applicants to complete the form as soon as the announcement is made.
