The “Radio Art” festival, a collaborative community event organized by Space 21, and the Digital Cultural Heritage, successfully took place
Space 21 which is an independent festival for sound art and experimental music in Kurdistan sponsored by Goethe Institute. In collaboration with Digital Cultural Heritage research center based at Sulaimani Polytechnic University, held an event entitled” Space 21” on the days 14-17 Dec 2020.
The Space21 Festival continued for 4 days during which focused on the significance of listening and its impact on our daily life. In the radio programs Space21 presented, international and local artists played sound and music to curiously seek another way of listening. Listening that demands other meanings and perspectives. Thus, the radios that were placed in public spaces attracted people from diverse backgrounds.
