Why Does the Advisory Council of Sulaimani Polytechnic University Invite Grade 12 Graduates to Visit the Next Step Exhibition, and What Free Information is Provided About the Online University Application Form?

Today, September 28, 2025, for the third consecutive year, the Next Step Exhibition was inaugurated under the educational initiative titled “Next Step: The Beginning of Your Future Journey.” The exhibition is organized for this year’s Grade 12 graduates from preparatory and vocational schools.

The main purpose of the exhibition is to support students by providing comprehensive information about universities and institutes in the Kurdistan Region and across Iraq.

More than 30 universities and institutes are participating in the exhibition. Sulaimani Polytechnic University (SPU) is also taking part with a team of experienced and knowledgeable staff who provide accurate answers and appropriate academic guidance to Grade 12 graduates.

Students receive detailed information about SPU’s academic departments for the 2025–2026 academic year, including available seats and academic programs, based on admission requirements and criteria. University staff also explain the required grades for the 2024–2025 academic year for each department, as well as tuition fees for parallel and evening programs, installment payment options, and available financial facilities.

Notably, during the Next Step Exhibition, the Advisory Council of Sulaimani Polytechnic University supervises and assists students free of charge in completing the online university application form, guiding them step by step to ensure the form is completed correctly.

As part of the exhibition’s activities and panel sessions, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sarhang Sarwat Hama, Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs and Higher Education, delivered a panel titled: “Projections of the Dental Medical Workforce Until 2040 in the Kurdistan Region – Iraq.”
