A delegation from SPU participates in a workshop in Germany

To internationalize the universities of the Kurdistan Region, a delegation from Sulaimani Polytechnic University participated in a workshop that was organized by the University of Gottingen in Germany.

The Director of the International Relations of Sulaimani Polytechnic University, Shirwan Hamid, stated that the workshop lasted from March 2 to March 6 and the University of Gottingen coordinated the workshop. He also added that this workshop was within the framework of the TIGRIS project-which has been co-funded by the EU-and it particularly works on the reinforcement of internationalization strategies in the Universities of Kurdistan region.

During the workshop, a team of experts from the University of Gottingen discussed the mechanisms of internationalizing the universities of Kurdistan and developing the international offices of those universities.

It is worth mentioning that delegates from different universities of the Kurdistan region participated in the workshop.
