A Group of University Students Attends a Summer Course in Germany

As part of the ongoing efforts by the International Relations Office at Sulaimani Polytechnic University to expand international learning opportunities, a group of students from the Technical College of Engineering is currently attending a two-week summer course in Germany.

On August 24, 2025, 13 students from Technical College of Engineering traveled to the University of Münster to participate in a summer program which has focused on (Design, Innovation, and Technology). The course aims to introduce students to key concepts and practices in design and technology as taught in international universities. During the first week, participants engaged in a series of hands-on workshops, where they actively took part in practical activities and completed several small projects.

This program is one of the exchange programs of Sulaimani Polytechnic University-International Relations Office that has been implemented for two years with the University of Münster in Germany. Due to ongoing financial crisis, students covered the cost of participation this year. Sulaimani Polytechnic University remains committed to creating more international opportunities for its students and faculty, helping them gain global experience and expand their academic horizons.
