This project is one of the new initiatives by the International Relations Office (IRO), which aims at internationalizing the university’s academic and staff, and providing employment opportunities for alumni through the Career Development Center (CDC).

RISE: Reinforcing Integration of Skills for Employability and Internationalisation in Kurdistan region of Iraq. This project is funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ program and is coordinated by UNIMED. Nine universities participate in this project: two from Europe, International University of Rome-UNINT and University of Murcia; and seven from the Kurdistan Region: AUAS, DPU, EPU, SPU, UoD, UoG, and the University of Zakho.

The agenda of the meeting aimed to provide the university’s academic and staff with more opportunities in the future, enabling participation in international programs and enhancing job prospects.

The university presidency had previously requested that all colleges and institutes select their representatives to ensure that this program aligns with the needs of every college and institute within the university.
