
A Scientific Conference on the Life and Struggles of President Mam Jalal to Be Held
Under the patronage of the University of Sulaymaniyah and in coordination with the Jalal Talabani Foundation, along with nine other universities in the Kurdistan Region—namely, the University of Koya, the University of Raparin, the University of Halabja, the University of Garmian, the Polytechnic University of Sulaymaniyah, the Polytechnic University of Garmian, the University of Komar, the International Tishk University, and the University of Qaiwan—a scientific international conference will be held at the University of Sulaymaniyah. The conference will focus on the history, life, struggles, organizational work, and political contributions of President Mam Jalal.
The conference, scheduled to take place next year, aims to shed light on President Jalal Talabani’s efforts in various fields, including human rights, diplomacy, and the liberation of Kurdistan from dictatorship, as well as the establishment of the Kurdistan Regional Government. It will also highlight his role in building a democratic and federal Iraq, his efforts to promote peace, and his position as the first elected President of Iraq.
