In the most recent Clarivate WoS InCites report, published on January 31, 2025, which analyzes the number of citations of universities based on research published in journals indicated by Clarivate, Sulaimani Polytechnic University has earned a noteworthy ranking:

  1. 19th among all Iraqi universities.
  2. 7th place in the Kurdistan Region.
  3. 5th place among public universities in the Kurdistan Region.

This ranking highlights the academic progress and research achievements of Sulaimani Polytechnic University at both the local and international levels.
