The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Thanked the Director of the Career Development Center (CDC) at Sulaimani Polytechnic University for Securing First Place among Kurdistan Universities in the Skills Training Program.

In a letter (number 1544) dated January 21, 2025, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Kurdistan Regional Government expressed gratitude to Ayub Karim Saeed, Director of the Career Development Center at Sulaimani Polytechnic University. The letter stated: “We would like to thank you for your responsible and dedicated performance of your daily duties and for your efforts in involving as many students and companies as possible in the internship program.”

The Career Development Center at Sulaimani Polytechnic University has been ranked first among Kurdistan universities for two consecutive years in terms of student participation in internship programs.

In the academic year 2022-2023, 782 students received training in private companies and institutions through CDC. The number is set to increase to 980 students in 300 private companies and institutions during the 2023-2024 academic year.

In response, Mr. Ayub, Director of the CDC, said: “This recognition and appreciation is part of the success of our university. We thank the presidency of our university, deans, heads of departments, employees, and students for their contributions to this achievement.”
