Marketing Agricultural Products symposium was held at Halabja Governorate
In hope of finding proper marketing solutions for agricultural products in Halabja and Sharazur, on June 10th, 2019 a symposium was held at SPU’s Halabja campus in collaboration with Halabja University and Halabja Governorate.
The event was attended by city’s top officials and a number of farmers. The symposium included six seminars and was concluded by offering recommendations.
In an interview with SPU website, Dr. Karezan Abdullah, dean of College of Applied Sciences and Halabja Technical Institute said: “organizing a symposium on an important topic like this deemed necessary for the stakeholders in the city. In this event, many recommendations and project were presented to solve the issue of marketing of agricultural products. We hope that concerned authorities, especially Ministry of Agriculture and KRG, would consider working on them and take this matter very seriously”.
