Representative of Sulaimani Polytechnic University Participating in the Second Term of a Program

Conducting  of the second workshop in Lebanon of (Super Trainers) on 5/3/2018-29/4/2018, the workshop entitled (Improving the Capacities and Competencies of Iraqi TVET Leaders, Teachers and Trainers) and the representative of SPU Assistant Professor Dr.Sarkawt Rostem Hassan participated in the program which is implemented by the British Council in cooperation with UNESCO, Supervised by international trainer  Dr.Krees Smip and sponsored by European Union ,10 participants from Kurdistan Region and Iraq participating in this program ,the candidates are professionals in Technical and vocational studies

Regarding the aim of the program, Dr.Rostem stated, the aim is to develop the quality of technical and vocational teaching on the basis of (Professional: Knowledge, understanding, skills & values),the program will be implemented through 3 stages, the first preparing and training the Super Trainer ,then training and preparing master trainer and finally training of trainers. And each stage consist of 3 workshops and the participants will be lecturers, staff and employees of Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research ,Ministry of Education and Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.

It is worth mentioning the the first workshop was conducted  last July in Hawler.
