Sulaimani Polytechnic University Signs an MoU with Haibat Sultan Technical Institute in Koya
The SPU announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Haibat Sultan Technical Institute in Koya, stressing that it aims to consolidate the common relations and benefit from its expertise and potential to support the Institute’s progress and serve the people of Koysinjaq.
This came during the visit of a delegation of the Institute, headed by its Dean, Dr.Hemn Qasim Bayez, to the Sulaimani Polytechnic University on 16 August 2017, and received by the President of the University Dr. Alan Faraidoon Ali Amin, Dr. Kawa Redha and Director of Academic and Public Relations Mr. Bakhtiar Obed Shareef as well as Media Director Mr. Aram Bakr.
The agreement allows the Institute to benefit from the university’s expertise and potential, as well as enable graduates to complete their university studies in the SPU , noting that the memorandum signed with the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Kurdistan.
The Dean of the Institute said that the memorandum is a great step to consolidate scientific and academic relations with the SPU and to benefit from its expertise and its potential to support the Institute’s progress and serve the people of Koysnjaq, he expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Kurdistan and their willingness to establish joint activities with them.
It is worth mentioning that the SPU has already signed about 50 memorandum or agreement of cooperation with scientific and academic bodies within the Kurdistan Region and outside, in the quest to strengthen it’s local, regional and global.
