German Publisher issues a book on noise reduction in optical communication networks for a lecturer at Sulaimani Polytechnic University .

A Kurdish academic succeeded in reducing the noise caused by the transmission of signals through optical communication networks, and the publication of many research on this subject attracted the interest of the German publishing house, thus they proceeded to print his book on the subject in English, to be an important scientific addition to the library of scientific and academic world and Kurdistan
Kanar Roshen Tariq a lecturer at SPU, and the Head of Information Technology Department at the Faculty of Information Technologies said that the publication of the book entitles (Intensity Noise Reduction Using a Gain Saturated SOA), recently by Dar Noor Publishing came after my publication of three related researches optical (Semiconductor optical Amplifier) in international periodicals, because of its reliability and commercial value in optical communication systems , pointing out that the amplifier scanner is an electronic device used like a microphone or a supporting signal in optical communication networks, It can be used as a multi-functional in that Networks to reduce noise, zoom signal or merged or separated. Then he added that his researches has demonstrated the possibility of using optical amplifiers as a functional device in optical communications networks to reduce the intensity of noise in their signals, indicating that intensity of noise in the optical signal can be reduced through using of semi-conductor amplifiers to obtain pure signal through the source of the dissecting of the optical spectrum, as these amplifiers filter the signal from the noise at the gain saturation point to produce signals of few noise.
The book consists of 78 pages, and the content is divided into an introduction and four chapters and summary, the first chapter consist of an introduction on amplifier, types and characteristics and methods of work and benefit of it. Chapter 2 deals with patterns previously used in noise reduction in telecommunication networks, While chapter 3 deals with the application of a computer simulation system using OptiSystem for photovoltaic (amplifier) and the parts used in it, and to prove the results in the case of saturation of the gain to reduce the intensity of noise, and the fourth chapter of the book, dedicated to the conclusions and analysis of the performance of the simulation system and compare it with the numerical equations for photovoltaic (amplifier), Conclusion to review the results of the research and the potential use of photovoltaic amplifiers as a functional device in current and future optical communication networks to reduce the noise intensity of their signals.
Dr.Kanar stressed that his research and his book prove that the photovoltaic amplifiers are a good option for getting more signals that are pure in various fiber optic communication networks, adding that the book is a qualitative addition to the global scientific and academic library in general and Kurdistan in particular.
It is worth mentioning that Kanar Roshen Tariq holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Technical Engineering College in Baghdad in 2009 and a Masters in Communications and Electronics Engineering from UTM in 2014 and is a member of IEEE and LCRG. He has eight Research published in refereed international journals.
