In Halabja, The International Women’s Day was Celebrated

On March 8, 2022, in the presence of Professor Dr. Karzan Abdullah, the Dean of the Technical College of Halabja, dean’s assistants, several teachers, and students from the colleges and institutes celebrated International Women’s Day in Halabja’s technical college garden.

 Dr. Karzan Abdullah welcomed everyone and presented his speech and said that “It is clear that women have played an important role in our history in confronting injustice and they have sacrificed greatly for equality and social justice, today we commemorate all those struggling women and we appreciate their struggle. At the same time, we consider ourselves the true support of today’s liberal and modernist women.”

 Later, a speech was presented to the audience by Dr. Sahar Hussein, the head of the department of administrative and agricultural projects.

At the end of the ceremony, a photographic exhibition was presented by the female students from the Technical College of Practical Sciences and the Halabja Technical Institute.
