A Lecturer and 15 University Students Receive Certificates in a Training Program

Throughout the work and activity of the Career Development Centre CDC of Sulaimani Polytechnic University, during online and electronic education, a university lecturer and 15 students from our university participated in a training course called “Scientific Preparation for Work”.

 In this regard, Ms. Hazhan Kamal Shali, a lecturer at Sulaimani Polytechnic University and a practical trainer at CDC, who participated in the program as a presenter of the webinar said “the scientific preparation program for work was a small training program that lasted for two months (9 and 10/2020), and it was in cooperation with the Ministries of Higher Education of Iraqi Federal and the Kurdistan Region as well as the Career Development Centers in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. The program was held under the supervision of the Cultural Relations Department at the United States Embassy.

 The main purpose of the program was to develop the ability of the students to find work opportunities, to develop the art of work, and to establish a small economic project scientifically.

 For this purpose, Zhyar Asaad Muhammad Ali, who is a student at Sulaymani Polytechnic University and volunteer at the Career Development Centre CDC, who was also the organizer of the program between the University and IREX (nongovernmental organization) for the two months of the course, said:

 At Sulaimaniyah Polytechnic University, 15 students were able to complete the program and obtain certificates. It contained many webinars which were presented by experts, and for each of the subjects, it was done in the form of weekly scientific actions and evaluations. It is worth mentioning that “Zhyar AsaadMuhammad Ali”, as the organizer of the IREX program, has been awarded an IREX certificate.
