Halabja Runs a Series of Workshops and a Special Course of Agriculture

Within the activities of Technical College of Applied Science of Halabja/SPU, with the assistance of General Directorate of Halabja Agriculture and German REACH Organization, on February 16, 2020, and with attendance of a large number of lecturers and Farmers of Halabja Governorate, a series of workshops and a scientific agricultural course were organized at Technical College of Applied Science of Halabja for one week. The core points of the activities were about fertilization, sickness, and the growth of mushrooms.
In the beginning, the dean of the Technical College of Applied Science, Dr. Karzan Abdullah welcomed the participants, and the representative of the REACH organization gave a brief about their organization. Then, the director of the Halabja Agricultural Instruction Department signified such workshops and courses.
Then, Dr. Basit ran a workshop regarding consumption and knowing fertilizers and growing soil.
Ideal farmer, Ahmed Fatah said, “Farmers need such kind of workshops and seminars as fish need water”. He and other farmers signified these kinds of workshops and asked to take place more.
After all the activities within one week were finished, then, Dr. Karzan Abdula distributed attendance certificates and thanked four lecturers of the college whom they presented their agricultural subject. Also, the farmers and the participants thanked the organizers of this workshop.
