Message of the Presidency of Sulaimani Polytechnic University on the 36th Anniversary of the Chemical Attack on Halabja

Proud relatives of martyrs, the wounded and victims of the Halabja genocide, we pay tribute to the martyrs of this crime, which the late Ba’ath regime in a few seconds sacrificed 5000 martyrs and wounded hundreds of defenseless people of this resistant city and thousands were displaced. We as the Presidency of Sulaimani Polytechnic University have always been with the suffering of Halabja. We have done everything we can to serve this martyr city, and our smallest gift has been the opening of a college and institute in Halabja. We want to serve the reconstruction of Halabja and participate in this procession of prosperity, and Halabja should become an exemplary province and a symbol of the oppression and sacrifice of the Kurdish people.
