More than 100 Leading Teachers were Awarded by Sulaimani Polytechnic University

In the presence and supervision of Professor Dr. Hoshyar Abdullah Aziz, President of Sulaimani Polytechnic University, the awarding ceremony was held for more than 100 leading teachers under the supervision of the Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Higher Education, they have been promoted to professors and a number of teachers and administrators for their efforts to improve the scientific level of the university. The ceremony was attended by Ambassador Dr. Mohammed Sabir, Chairman of the President Mam Jalal Talabani’s Foundation and Dr. Amanj Abdullah Saeed, Advisor of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, President of Jihan University of Sulaimani and a number of guests. Professor Dr. Hoshyar Abdullah Aziz, President of the University, after congratulating the month of holy Ramadan, said that he is very happy to meet in such an event and hoped that these events will continue, and it will be the duty and efforts of all teachers and employees be able to stand on their own feet. He said that everyone should work for modern changes and development of the university, he also mentioned that the current plan of the university will be to improve the system (Bologna Process) and (pedagogy) and link it to the labor market and name it the Triangle of Progress. He also said that another plan of the university will be to integrate artificial intelligence in the curriculum in most scientific departments of the university. Currently, through the international relations of the university, some initiatives have been started with some international universities. Finally, he thanked all the teachers for their efforts and hard work. After that, Dr. Amanj Abdullah Saeed, advisor of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, delivered a speech, after thanking the president of SPU and his assistants, he said that such work is a source of pride for the Ministry of Higher Education. He hoped that researchers would conduct more research in the field of culture and science and thanked the Sulaimani Polytechnic University for their continuous role in improving the level of science and increasing the labor force in Kurdistan markets. Then Prof. Asst. Dr. Sarhang Sarwat, Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Higher Education, held a seminar on the steps of the university to improve and change the curricula at the level of Master, Doctoral and bachelor’s studies, in a way that meets the current needs of Kurdistan, the region and the world. Finally, awards were given to teachers and directors of some departments.
