Sulaymaniyah Polytechnic University is Sending Several Students to Egypt University of Science and Technology in Egypt for the Summer Internship Purposes.
Today, Thursday 13th of July 2023 Dr. Bakhtiar Obaid Sharif, the Vice President of SPU for Student Affairs received a number of students from the Colleges of Health and Medical Techniques, Engineering Techniques and Administrative Techniques who will be sent to Egypt University for Summer Internship in Egypt. In the meeting, the Vice President for Student Affairs wished the students success in their scientific journey, and highlighted the importance of participation of our university students alongside other university students in Arab countries and presenting the spirit of unity and peaceful coexistence of the Kurdish nation. He also pointed out the important and long-standing relations between the Kurdish people and the Arab Republic of Egypt and the importance of the publication of the first Kurdish newspaper by Miqdad Madhat Badrkhan in Cairo. For their part, the students expressed their pleasure to conduct summer internships at the Egypt University of Science and Technology, and considered it important to provide such opportunities to become more familiar with the culture of the Arab people in other Arab countries and he wished them a comfortable journey, and urged them to set a fine example in that exercise. It is worth mentioning that at the end of this month, our university will welcome a group of students from Egypt University of Science and Technology who will visit Sulaymaniyah Polytechnic for summer internship. This program is implemented within the framework of the student exchange program of the Union of Arab Universities.
