Sulaimani Polytechnic University Signed another Scientific MOU

Sulaimani Polytechnic University and Jihan University in Sulaimani signed an academic Memorandum of Understanding to accomplish common scientific works and conferences and to make use of the experiences of both sides.

On 10th of August 2016, President of SPU Dr.Alan Faraydoon and vice president of Financial and Administration Affairs Dr.Dana Ahmed Mustafa and Mr.Hoger Mohamed Towfik Head of Language Center received a delegation from Jihan University in Sulaimani headed by Dr.Aram Omer Muhedeen President of Jihan University in Sulaimani.

After signing the MOU both sides agreed on forming a committee, consist of experts and specialist from both universities to decide a mechanism for implementing the MOU in the fields of exchanging academic staff, holding conferences, researches, seminars, workshops ,visiting each other’s.

On this occasion Dr.Alan stated, we are proud that we have concluded many agreements with both local and International universities to accomplish common scientific works together and build stronger relationship with the universities to achieve much more progress in the international ranking of universities.

He added, before two years we had only 2 MOUs but fortunately we have signed now up to 40 MOUs with local, Iraqi, Arab countries universities as well as European and American Universities

It is worth mentioning that at the end of the previous month a delegation from Institute of Basra for Oil visited SPU to sign an academic and scientific MOU and accomplishing common works in different fields.
