Sulaimani Polytechnic University works to maintain strong ties with alumni.* “An Alumni is a former student of college, or university. Commonly, but not always, the word refers to a graduate of the educational institute . An alumnus can also be a former member, employee, contributor, as well as a former student” .

Sulaimani Polytechnic University from its first foundation when Sulaimani Technical Institute in 1973 ,the graduates have been recorded in this page,then in 1996 for the first time Foundation of Technical Education has been found to include all technical institutes in Sulaimani and in the surrounding areas.
