President of SPU visited the new General Consulate of Iran.

On 21st of June 2015, a delegation headed by Dr.Alan Faraydoon visited the new general Consulate of Iran in Sulaimani,the delegation composed of Dr.Sherzad,vice president for administration and financial affairs and Dr.Nasih,vice president for scientific affairs, they were received warmly by Mr. Masaudian,the consul , and Mr.Murtatha Ahmadi Cultural attaché at the consulate, during the meeting the delegation congratulated them for opening the new Consulate, and asked them to build strong Scientific and academic relationships with the universities of Iran, moreover they talked about the SPU and Sulaimani University visit to Iran universities, during which they visited Sanaati University and other five universities, and briefed on the significant progress that characterizes the universities , also visited the laboratories of the universities which containing advanced and a high level quality of equipment , which serves students in their studies significantly, for his part, the Consul expressed his pleasure for their visit, and pledged to cooperate in strengthening the relations between the two universities of Kurdistan and the universities of Iran and work to provide scholarships free of charge for students of master’s and doctoral .
