Students at the Sulaimani Technical College Designing 11 Devices And Call Industrial Sectors To Take Advantage Of Them
Production and minerals department systems in the technical college of engineering organized a workshop on Wednesday 6-5-2015, to review research projects presented by the students of the fourth stage, under the auspices of the President of the SPU, Dr.Alan Faraydoon Ali, and Dr.Hakim Othman Dean of the technical college, and the presence of heads of departments and a group of faculty and students , and representatives of the industrial sector in the governorate.
Dr.Aln stated that “ the research projects proposed by the Phase IV students in the production and metals department , ” shows the capabilities that can serve work and production sectors ,” expressing university ” readiness to support most of the proposed project to find a way for implementation.
Besides he asked the professors and students , to ” focus their research on the solution of work and production and secure their requirements ,” stressing that the university held many memorandums of understanding with international universities and scientific bodies and has taken into account the possibility of providing seats for Graduate Studies to complete higher studies as well as the implementation of a variety of training programs. ”
Head of production and Metallurgical Engineering in the technical college Dr. Basim Ali Khader Dizayee said, The proposed research projects, included many of the processors and ideas for the development of labs iron and steel, cement, petroleum, construction and food industries …”he added, employees of the department ” are keen to harness the scientific and technical expertise to service work and production sectors in Sulaimani and outside the province ,” also added that the faculty ” carried out through their Advisory Office , a lot of business in favor of various beneficiaries , in return they received sub-symbolic wages.
Students who provided research projects, asked the Sulaimani Polytechnic University and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Kurdistan Regional Government, to ” recognize the abilities and capabilities of them and their friends through the organization of events or shows of quality and inviting the production and international companies to guarantee research findings to take advantage of them in practice.
