SPU signs an agreement with Northern Technical University
In its continuous effort to build local and international relations and strengthen academic ties with academic institutions, SPU signed an agreement with the Northern Technical University.
On on June 22, 2019 SPU President Assist. Prof. Dr. Alan Faraidoon Amin accompanied by Prof. Dr. Soran Saeed, Vice President for Scientific and Postgraduate Affairs and Assist. Prof. Dr. Dana, VP for Administrative Affairs , a number of faculty staff and director of International Office and Relations received Prof.Dr. Mowafak Yahiya Hamdoon, President Of The Northern Technical University and the delegation accompanying him.
After welcoming the delegates, SPU president stated that the university currently has over 70 scientific agreements and MoU’s with various local and international academic and non-academic institutions, 50 of which are currently active. He also hoped that this new agreement would benefit both sides and lay the groundwork for a greater collaboration between the the two.
Prof.Dr. Mowafak Yahiya Hamdoon, President Of The Northern Technical University, in return thanked SPU for their hospitality and stated that SPU’s sustained advancement in the national ranking was the reason behind their interest in signing this agreement. He also wished the two institutions could soon work together in the field of scientific research and organizing joint conferences and symposia.
