Strengthening Of the Scientific Relations between The Kurdistan Region And Germany

German Consul visited Sulaimani Polytechnic University; during his visit he discussed with the president of the university ways of developing the scientific relations between them.

On Sunday 10/5/2015, Assist.Prof.D.Alan Faraydun president of SPU,and Dean of Computer Science Institute Dr.Soran Abubakr, as well as the Director of Media and Public Relations Mr.Gaylan Nazhad received the German Consul of the Kurdistan Region) in the presidency of the university ,during the meeting they talked about strengthening of the scientific, cultural relations between SPU and the universities of Germany, ,Dr.Alan stressed on the Mutual understanding between both universities students in the field of culture and science and also cooperation between the two universities in the mentioned fields.

Also they talked during the meeting about the implementation of a panel to enhance the capabilities and potential of colleges and institutes of Sulaimani Polytechnic University in the energy and environmental preservation areas.

For his part, via the German consul in Kurdistan province was pleased to hold such meetings and pledged to work on the development of such relations between his country universities and the Kurdistan Region Universities also said that his country will encourage investors to invest in Kurdistan and particularly in the scientific field in cooperation with the SPU.
