We provide a full range of student administration services and facilities for responding to general student related enquiries, with the aim to: look after student health and wellbeing, enhance students’ opportunities for success, help students make the most of their time at university, contribute positively to the quality of the student experience and support recruitment, progression and retention.

Student Activity Support

We recognize that much of the learning that students experience on campus takes place outside the classroom. Student Activities educators work with students to encourage them to develop skills in leadership, event planning and management, decision-making, problem-solving, critical thinking, innovation, entrepreneurship, communication, goal setting, fiscal management, marketing and promotion, and even more importantly, to make life at SPU interesting, engaging and memorable through providing a wide range of Co-curricular and extracurricular programs.

The student representative at Sulaimani Polytechnic University

The student representative at Sulaimani Polytechnic University is a professional organization that defends students’ rights on multiple levels and conveys students’ demands to academic departments, colleges, and the university’s administrative units. Furthermore, this representative union plays a major role in organizing, supervising, and conducting students’ activities and events at the college and university levels. The student union has a close relationship with the Vice President of Students Affairs to obtain support and funds for their activities.
