Internship Program
An internship is a form of experiential learning that integrates knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and skills development in a professional setting. Internships give students the opportunity to gain valuable applied experience and make connections in professional fields they are considering for career paths. Internships provide employers with the opportunity to cultivate student talent and identify potential future employees for their organization.
The internship program allows students to apply their classroom knowledge and skills professionally. It will enable them to gain valuable experience and make connections in their desired career field. At SPU, the CDC’s internship program has been instrumental in introducing students to the working environment.
Despite the challenges faced, the number of interns has steadily increased from 2015 to 2023, as shown in Chart below.
