Driven by a sense of institutional responsibility and a commitment to addressing the requirements of the university’s colleges, Professor Dr. Hoshyar Abdullah Aziz, President of Sulaimani Polytechnic University, conducted an inspection tour of the Chwarchra Campus. He was accompanied by Professor Dr. Ali Qadir Osman, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs.
At the start of the visit, the President met with the director and staff of the Career Development Center (CDC). He expressed his gratitude to Mr. Ayub Karim, the Director of the center, and the entire staff, praising their activities and efforts. He noted that the center has achieved significant progress, establishing itself as a leader among university CDCs by providing impactful services and initiatives for students across various disciplines. Following the commendation, the President listened extensively to the center’s specific requests and needs.
Professor Dr. Hoshyar Abdullah Aziz reaffirmed the university’s unwavering support for the CDC and pledged that every effort would be made to address their requirements. Furthermore, he provided a series of directives and recommendations aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of their future operations.
As part of the tour, the President also inspected the university conference hall, where he discussed the necessary procedures for its upcoming renovation and modernization.
Subsequently, the President held meetings with the deans of the campus colleges, including Assistant Professor Dr. Aysar Abdulkhaliq Abdulrahman (Dean of the Technical College of Informatics), Dr. Sivan Hisham Tahir (Dean of the Technical College of Administration), Professor Dr. Hersh Rasul Murad (Dean of the Technical College of Administration), and Assistant Professor Dr. Younis Sabir Abdullah (Dean of the Technical College of Health and Medicine). During these meetings, he closely reviewed the administrative workflows and listened to the logistical and service requirements of each college to ensure that the necessary steps were taken to advance the overall educational and developmental process.
